5.0 out of 5 stars Blistering Virtuosity & Breath Taking Sensitivity, 23 Jul 2007
By Scriabinmahler (Cambridge UK) - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)

The three variations on this disc displays Katsaris' blistering virtuosity and breath taking artistry to the full. Fast sections in Rachmaninov / Chopin variations and Liszt variations are truly daring and defies limit of human ability! Slow sections are played with utmost delicacy and poetry. Surely one of the most impressive recordings the pianist made.
