3.0 out of 5 stars A must if you loved the film!, 12 Sep 2007
By Terry Manning (UK) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Ghost (Audio CD)
Ghost was the top grossing film of 1990 and it's success was in part down to the use of The Righteous Brother's overplayed (and much covered) classic 'Unchained Melody', used for THAT infamous scene between Patrick Swayzee and Demi Moore.
Unfortunately, the rest of the score is a bit hit and miss and in my opinion a huge let down, the one notable exception being the breathtakingly beautiful orchestral version of the aforementioned song! Used at the end of the film when the main characters are saying their farewells, its a stunning piece of music that always brings a lump to my throat, making it well worth the price of the album alone!!

2.0 out of 5 stars Oh dear., 27 Nov 2005
By A. S. Rowe "Dava" (Great Britain) - See all my reviews
I bought this album, thinking there was a choir version of Unchained melody on it,as i had heard a choir version on an advert for the film on tv.
But there was not,so there you go.
