Over 20 years of hits, with all music styles catered for. From David Essex originals to cover versions, all sung in his own imitable style. Songs to swoon to and to croon along to. Memories are made of albums like this!

I found these CD's very entertaining, it is great to hear old songs as well as more recent ones on the same disc. 40 tracks of well chosen songs. I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys a wide selection of tempos. If you would rather listen to songs that you can understand the words to (not like many of the songs written today), buy a copy today, I am sure you won't regret it. I know I don't, it was money well spent.

This double album which covers 24 years is David Essex career is , as the title suggest, THE Very Best. The mix of so many styles covering a great variety of musical era's is superb. From the very lively to the very gentle there is music here to suit almost every taste. The only disappointing feature for me was that it did not contain David Essex version of Toto's 'Africa'.
