This collection has older tracks mixed with some more recent stuff. Most of it would fit well into their other albums, with only a couple of strange tracks. "Blue On A Green Planet" for one, when I first heard this I thought someone had sneaked in and changed the cd, however to this day the song hasn't grown on me. Big Country do "Jazz" well sort of. Anyway this is worth buying for cd 1 alone. Most are old b-sides, with a few other bits thrown in. Cd 2 has The "Restless Natives" on it (along with 6 others) but this is a bit patchy. The film may be a masterpiece but the soundtrack lumbers from one change of pace to another and never really gets going. Never mind overall an excellent buy, well worth a try for new fans, and a must for the diehards!!

I also have looked for years for the sound track to the film and i found this, It is brilliant - believe it or not i evenmanaged to get an original video of it too even though it cost me £40.00. The video and the music are absolutely fantastic.

Just for the Restless Natives soundtrack - quality uplifting scottish rock at it's very best.

Although as the title say`s these are rarities,I`d recommend anybody to buy this CD. This is Big Country at there best atmospheric and great to rock to.
