This is NOT a best of album. Basically the first CD to be released of Zodiac's material, covering the Tattooed Beast Messiah LP.
Hell, if it was a best of, it'd include the all the best indie rock tracks origianlly released in the late 80's including, High Priest Of Love & Wild Child, but alas, this is probably never gonna happen.
Still, this is a bloody good album, but don't be fooled in thinking its a "best of" as he's gone onto to write some better sleaze in later years. Just check out "I Am Rock" to see he's still got what it takes.

My goodness! From afar did I worship at the temple of Mr. Manning & his crazy friends. You will not be disappointed by this cacophony of rock, screeching guitars & double-entendre lyrics. It surely is a must for people with ears. (But not of nervous disposition!) For extra insight into his world, read the books. (Not on a full stomach!) WOW!

Round 1987 you couldn't see a better rock n roll swindle.
Amazing live act, ..i was a repeat offender, time after sodding time.
trouble is.. time moves pretty fast,.. young children can actually play their instruments these days. Not like that Kid Chaos.
i've worn the Zode snake tattoo with pride.
Great band, greater live shows, even an alright author. But please don't buy this album. Save your pennies up, find, then buy "High Priest of Love" EP, then, just leave it there. Don't go looking for more Jack Daniels where theres nothing left but wee.
As Mr Manning should know by now, the secret of really good art is knowing when to stop.
