4.0 out of 5 stars Nice One, 23 May 2008
By AJ "Alan" (Joburg, South Africa) - See all my reviews
Really good solid album from Alan Lancater ex bass player Status Quo.Alan went down to Australia some years back and was involved with the Party Boys And Lancaster Bombers the songs on this album are made up from these bands.Sound Quality on album is very good and Alan and the boys give 15 tracks of good music, content being some covers, ballads and some mean rockers just listen to his great versions of the John Kongos classic Hes Gonna Step on You Again and the AC/DC rocker High Voltage excellent stuff, plus a modern version of Pictures Of Matchstick Men really good.
All in all a good solid album from Alan Lancaster and life CAN go on after Quo for him.Treat yourself you will enjoy.
Hope review is of help to you.

4.0 out of 5 stars Lancaster Rocks, 14 Mar 2000
By A Customer
Spliced together from Party Boys & Bombers material, this CD is an uncomprimising and unashamed vehical for Lancaster to prove he still knows how to Rock Hard. Too mant covers nearlly spoil it, and I would have preferred to hear the guy sing more, but even so, in this day and age we should be thankfull for small mercies. Much better than anything your likely to hear in the charts.
