A mixed bag of tracks here, all recorded/produced alongside eponymous Mr G Clinton. While it has its share of green notes, this rare album captures the sheer brilliance of the Funkadelic guitarist, the late Eddie Hazel. The songs showcase his incredible rhythmic and deftly light-fingered soloing, and provide a real celebration of a player who should be categorised alongside Hendrix, Blackmore, and Zappa. At this price, you need to be a serious collector. I was lucky, and bought the CD new. Hard to understand the sleeve notes, as it's all in Japanese.
