5.0 out of 5 stars "A must for all Discworld fans", 2 Feb 2001
By A Customer
This CD has some very impressive tracks - and the use of quotes from the book read by Tony Robinson and Stephen Briggs are very effective in creating a Discworld-like atmosphere full of "Narrativium", (see The Science of Discworld). Greenslade's obvious talent shines throughout and the vocals by Tim Whitnall, (from CITV's "Mike and Angelo", and CBBC's "Telletubbies"), are combined in my favourite track - "A Wizards Staff Has A Knob on The End". Just under an hours worth of music makes this CD a must for all Discworld fans.

When is the next CD going to be out?

5.0 out of 5 stars DisCDworld is far from flat, 8 April 2004
Not just a fun collection of music and lyrics but a humourous well crafted collection of tracks to enjoy. If you are a Greenslade fan then this is Dave Greenslade at his humourous best as in sunkissed you're not etc. The narration and lyrics add to the mood settings of Greenslade's keyboards. Best thing to do is buy this CD, sit down quietly (with or without a book) put the headphones on and drift through the multiverse of melodies. You'll not be able to stop your feet tapping to the Wizards staff song - or get it out of your head - headology of the worst kind! Enjoy it, I do.

5.0 out of 5 stars Warning - this CD is totally addictive ...., 26 April 2005
By C. A. Thomas "Glashan" (Douglas, Isle of Man United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
There's something for everyone here - instrumental and vocal pieces which invoke all sorts of emotions. The opening track 'A-Tuin the Turtle' fires the imagination and makes you almost see A-tuin and the Discworld slowly moving through space. I played this in the car and have got my teenaged daughters hooked ... as well as my husband, who wasn't a Discworld fan at all! Be prepared to keep singing bits of 'A Wizards Staff' and to have 'The Streets of Ankh Morpork'(the unwary traveller) and the tune of the 'Stick and Bucket Dance' with you for a long time afterwards.
