3.0 out of 5 stars very mid 80's....but very erasure...the seeds were sown!, 8 Mar 2002
the second single release- i also own this on 12" format-is so....fluffy! :-)

vince clarke always knew how to write a good tune, but andy bell added his lyrical touch....so sweet and nice?...hmmm...but it didnt chart

why?...well it sounds a little underproduced thats why...emulator strings-a nice dated looped string sound- dated slap bass, hard 80's drum programming, and not much in the way of sonic enhancement; if you listen to sometimes, or even oh l'amour, youll hear the difference IMMEDIATELY.

dont say no, was a fine instrumental jobbie, but my heart so blue without the vocals is a crime :-(

taken from wonderland, it sounds a little lost on its own, so get it as part of the boxed set. Otherwise, just get the album and listen to it...it isnt anything special, it wasnt really then in fact, but now it just sounds insignificant when you consider what was to come in a years time from then...

poor production let this down im afraid...it has dated VERY BADLY as a result...its "mild" and that's it
