Very seldom does an album seem magical, and yet this one does with flair. One of Donovan's very best, that can take you up high and bring you pleasantly down to earth, with some of his most unique and innovative songs performed with style, from semi-acoustic to fully beefed up rock riffs and twelve-bars in a beautiful mix of styles from dreamy,through humourous, to haunting, rocking and unforgetable.
With one of his best and perhaps largest ever list of outstanding and superb guest musicians; beautiful backing vocals, arrangements, and moog orchestrations ;the assistance and expertise of Mickie Most production techniques in quality and depth of sound recording; and of course, that special Donovan magic and flair; make this collection an absolute "must-have" for any serious collector, and an album you will never stop listening to.
This is the original and complete "Cosmic Wheels" compilation from 1973, and put to CD in 1994.
