Al Stewart live concerts are always amusing with tales and stories. Live albums tend the miss out on this and never quite have the same feeling. The original vinyl was a two disc set, with the first side recorded in the studio. (These tracks are on the CD version of 24 Carrots.)

Obviously the tracks are all from the time of Past, Present and Future and Year of the Cat era, but as the only live Al Stewart album ever released, well adding to your collection. The World goes to Riyadh Clarence Frogman Henry are only on this CD.

Live albums are a slice in time. A concert today would be different, but the selection of songs provide a good taste of Al's historical songs and fan favourites.
