A truely stunning collection of traditional music sung by Margaret Stewart, one of the best Gaelic singers around. Beautifully accompanied by Allan MacDonald and featured artists. The title track "Fhuair mi pog" stirs up so many images of Scottish history and the album continues with other classics like "Uamh an Oir". This album really gives you an insight to true traditional gaelic music and song. Absolutely enchanting is the only way to descibe the music espcially as the album ends with the haunting "Port na hpucai"- fairy music. An excellent introduction for anyone interested in the true gaelic culture.
