4.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful but not without some disappointments, 8 Jun 2002
By A Customer
This is a very fine recording of a very beautiful work. However, it is a shame, in my opinion, that the recording is so light; this is period performance at its most sparse.Nevertheless, the Taverner Consort and Players sing and play very beautifully and the soloists are particularly fine given such a reasonable price.
