This is a fabulous recording. Each individual track is brilliantly arranged and executed. But ... it gets a bit wearing, after thirty minutes or so. There should have been more variety in mood. [If you love Philip Glass, or those tranquillity recordings, please disregard!]

I recommend you play this CD with Thibaudet's other jazz recording in a multi-changer, and set it to RANDOM. This way, there is plenty of variety. The Reflections on Duke CD is also wonderful, but is a much better program. You won't need to pair it with anything else to enjoy it.
