A really nice work by Thibaudet, in this the first of his cds recorded at 1990. May be a little "young", his use of the pedal and dynamics are nice, but you'll see it may have improved a lot in the 90's (you can compare it with the wonderful recordings of Debussy's Piano works, on two doubles Decca 1995 & 2000). Even some pieces seems a little "rough" or dry, but, in general, a very nice effort.

The best CD of Ravel complete piano works remain for me the Louis Lortie performance at Chandos Records.
