This album summarises Mayfields seemless ability to convey important social issues and make them personal and REAL to anyone without pushing them down your throat. He also manages to make you think whilst making you groove and how many other artists can do that? Even if you don't listen to the lyrics, its still just great to bust along in your car to with the windows down!

All the best tracks from the legendary Curtis Mayfield on one CD! This compilation features the funky movie tunes 'Pusherman' and 'Superfly' and the soulful classic 'The makings of you' Simply soul music with a 70s tough flavour delivered with style and passion. A rare compilation that guarantees funk and romance together how they should be!
