Why is this the best I.B album? Simply put, it has tunes ! There is a summery feel to a lot of the tracks which is not something you would assocciate with I.B. The guitars sound great and there is even an environmental protest song on there. Beat that Sting, you Geordie whinger !!!!Best songs- Butterfly Bleu and Best days.
Top one proto soul metal crusaders !!!!!!

(REAL NAME)   
This is a firm favourite of mine, bought it originally as an LP in the 70s and recently on CD - I clearly still like after all this time. Butterfly Bleu is a haunting track and a number of other tracks from this album made it to the Best Of compilation, which may be a better bet if you are new to Iron Butterfly. 70s American rock at its best.
