I've listened to almost all recordings of Scriabin Piano Concerto, but all of them do not come even close to Demidenko's account. This is a rare occasion that everything goes perfect like a miracle. Choice of tempi is perfect in each movement. Orchestra part is completely one with soloist as if it is inspired by the pianist's passion and poetry. Demidenko plays slow movement very slowly with awe-inspiring delicacy and other worldly sense of serenity. The last movement describes painful and hard flight upwards until the music triumphantly proclaim victory and flies away and vanishes into silence. Must for anyone who loves Scriabin's music
