very interesting, because:
a) This music is so joyful and makes a happy
feeling.
b) Musicians, who have recorded this CD-SET,
are very good.

Highly recommended! Bright and very enjoyable music played and sung to the highest standards. If Purcell had exceeded his 36 years,we can only imagine what gems he would have produced! I would strongly recommend buying this well produced box set.

...approve. Yes they do. I had a friend once, and above the West Village bustle we used to sing this lovely ground bass ('Here the Deities Approve') in a touching, rather sorrowful manner, occasionally reducing people to tears. And you know I can also sing along with 'Sound the Trumpet, Beat the Drum' and 'Fly, Bold Rebellion!', but the Deities are best, 'live and thrive, live and thrive so well below'.
