Whilst still enabling the seduction of the Russian cultural music, Jerry Goldsmith has been able to integrate the sometimes abrasive sound of Jazz in to a score that complements the film totally. A remarkable soundtrack that encapsulates the feeling and the mood of the film. How many film scores actually have a Balalaika, Violins and clarinet playing simultaneously. The sounds of Russia meets the jazz of Soho
