4.0 out of 5 stars A few really good songs that stick on your mind, 16 Nov 1999
By A Customer
This review is from: Sister Sweetly (Audio CD)
I was first introduced to this band in college before they had really hit the mainstream. They actually performed on the lawn at an outdoor concert! This is a wonderful band with some excellent songs. The entire cd is not as praise worthy as a few key songs, namely "It's Alright" and "Bittersweet". If you have never heard these songs, I would suggest you find a way to, as they are excellent. The other songs are definitely decent, but they don't hit home quite the way these two did for me. If you like Counting Crows or the Wallflowers I would suggest this cd. Definitely enjoyable and a great summer kind of sound.
