This is the album that SHOULD have made superstars out of Winger. Instead, two things ruined the party:
-Seattle grunge
-Beavis & Butthead.
So sales stalled, the label lost interest, and the band broke up.

Leaving the best album they'd ever done as a final legacy.
Darker and heavier than the previous releases, avoiding the usual themes of hair metal in favour of social commentary and thought provoking lyrics, and even using dropped tunings in places - which should in theory have ENDEARED them to the Seattle crowd.

The songs are superb, Kip sang better than ever, Reb played his heart out, and Rod showed why he's regarded as one of the best drummers around.

All rock fans should own a copy.

Original,Innovative and completely timeless - a masterpiece musically and stunningly emotive vocally. Pull is the greatest album i have heard in a long time, because it sounds like nothing else i have ever heard. Spell I'm Under is a ballad which should have gone down in history for its beauty, but by 1993 it was all too late. Shame really since there are millions of people out there that i'm sure would love it if they gave it a chance.
