4.0 out of 5 stars Paul Rodgers and Jimmy Page try to recapture former gory, 4 May 2005
By A Customer
On paper the idea of former Free and Bad Company lead vocalist Paul Rodgers teaming up with former Yardbirds and Led Zeppelin lead guitarist Jimmy Page sounds pretty damn good. But Rodgers and Page co-write only five of the nine songs on this album and only one of those, "Satisfaction Guaranteed," is one of the three best songs on the album. The other two are "Radioactive," which Rodgers wrote by himself, and the group's cover of "You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling." In the end, this album seems more like a Bad Company album, a collection of hits and misses, which is not a bad legacy. You just have to understand that there are legions of us who would have loved to have heard lightning strike twice with Jimmy Page.
