4.0 out of 5 stars Good music, but wrong booklet, 31 Oct 2006
Ordered this CD from Amazon two weeks ago, after having listened to Latvian Baiba Skride play Glazunov in concert in Stockholm. The music is exceptionally good, Shaham's playing is lighter and less romantic than Skrides, but I was disappointed with the booklet. Instead of the booklet shown in the picture at Amazon (Shaham and conductor shaking hands), the booklet that I received with my order was from the DG mid price series "Critic's Choice". This is not an aesthetical objection of mine, but unfortunately the two booklets contain different information.
