5.0 out of 5 stars Jaw-dropping , eye-popping, Mista Scary, 27 Oct 1999
By A Customer
Ah, this is the one album that blew everyone away in the early eighties. I'm sure that are still guitars players out there hiding beneath there sofas in fear of coming out after hearing this ground-breaking album. When everyone was preaching the playing of Eddy Van Halen and Eric Clapton, Yngwie Malmsteen showed them what it was all about. Hailed as one of the fastest guitar players around (he quickly started a fad known as Neoclassical rock) he mixes the dynamics of classical precision playing with the fist-clenching intensity of adrenaline rock. A must-hear album, that sometimes leaves the listener smiling in disbelief.

5.0 out of 5 stars Classic., 25 Oct 2002

This was Yngwie's second album, and it remains a benchmark for guitarists everywhere. Jeff Scott Soto is arguably Yngwie's best ever vocalist, and he sings his heart out, the keys are excellent, drumming is tight, and Yngwie shows why he started the neoclassical revolution.

Contains "I See The Light Tonight", a song yngwie STILL plays live today.

A must-have for any self-respecting guitarist.

5.0 out of 5 stars His best album to date !, 21 Dec 2006
This is Yngwie at his very best (his second Rising Force album)
Each track is filled with guitar wizardry, apart from the first one which isn't even a song.

If you are into excellent guitar playing with everything, speed, style and feeling, buy this album and ignore the review below this one !!
