I actually heard the soundtrack long before I ever saw the movie, but the CD contains everything that the film portrays. It contains all the major songs, but also others that, if you hadn't heard the CD you may have missed, but are just as good as any of the major tracks (like Dogs In The Yard, and Dressing Room Piano [Ralf & Monty]) If you like the film, this is a must have.

Although not actually born when Fame was first released, I happened to watch it on TV during an 80's special, and was hooked immedicately. The music is fantastically catchy, and the dancing funky! This CD is guaranteed to get any party going!

This was a birthday present for my 9 year old niece who absolutely adores it, as did her mum and aunty! Great Christmas gift for a girl of this age.
