This album landed on my doorstep yesterday and I returned it to Amazon today. There is a strange noise on all tracks which I cannot believe was on the original master tapes. If that is the case then this 'Original Recording Remastered" has a major problem! It is possible that the noise is a by-product of some mastering engineer trying too hard to clean up the old tapes.

I would advise against buying this album just because of this. If I could get hold of an earlier version however, I would still like to have a copy.

I agree with the previous review, the re-mastering process seems to have added unacceptable distortions, either that or there's a faulty batch of CDS, I also am aware of a bad one bought from a virgin store.
I have some of these tracks on vinyl and so it is not a problem with the master tapes.
Afraid I too have had to return the CD.

To be honest it was my dad who told me abot Cozy!!! After what he said about him I decided to buy this album as an indication of what he's like. I was blown away!!! what a king! I highly recommend this to anyone, no matter what their tastes are. BUY THIS ALBUM!!!
