5.0 out of 5 stars Partly recycled but a worthwhile collection nonetheless, 29 Dec 2002
By A Customer
It is almost worth buying this album just for the haunting title track "Jammu Africa", a transcendental moment which finds Ismael Lo at his songwriting best. The brilliantly executed interplay between vocals, acoustic guitar, and drums on this track is simply stunning. While this album shares five or so tracks with its predecesor "Iso", this collection is more diverse and provides a satisfying collection of West African rhythms. Highlights unique to this album include Tajabone and Sofia.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fabulous! Beautiful voice and incredible melodies..., 3 Jul 2000
By A Customer
I first heard this CD while having breakfast in a small cliff-side restaurant in Southern India (believe it or not!). It was one of those inspiring "I have to have this" moments. Ismael has an enchanting voice and the African rythems are uplifting.
