I was alerted to the class of the Commodores through a track entitled 'Zoom' which was used on MJ Coles Back to Mine selection.

Having fallen in love with the beauty of the lyrics and the construction of the song I decided to buy a greatest hits compilation to see if there were any other classics I was missing out on.

I wasnt disappointed. The tracks start off fairly funky with the likes of Machine Gun and then drift off into brilliant souful numbers such as the aforementioned 'Zoom', 'Sunday Morning'and 'Sweet Love'.

I would recommed this to Commodore disciples and people new to them like I was. It really is a brilliant album summing up the best of the group.
