5.0 out of 5 stars guitar/keyboard/rhythm/drum/vocal heaven, 7 May 2003
well if you play guitar, you'll never have a better tutor than the all-time best Michael Schenker at his joint best. paul raymond switches from rhythm guitar to keyboards without you noticing, gary bardon puts heart and soul into the vocals, and the drums and bass are constantly providing the heartbeat in rock-solid fashion. this is the joint-best live album i've ever heard, along with Strangers in the Night (UFO) and Unleashed in the East (Judas Priest). If you really want to learn what great guitar playing is all about, with soul, feeling, depth, and tone, then you need these three cd's, and start with this as it's the hardest to get. I can't praise these three highly enough.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Classic!, 27 Feb 2004
By Myke Winters (United Kingdom) - See all my reviews
Yup! Definately what I call a CLASSIC! in every sense of the word. I still remember the first time I listened to it. The sound was spot on and the choice of songs also, especially the Courvosier Concerto...sent the hair on my neck tingle!!! Your loss if you don't hear it.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of, if not THE best live album I've heard, 27 April 2002
By G. M. Hedger "doggery" (Potton, England) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Anyone who enjoys powerful, window-rattling rock should add this classic to their collection!
Michael Schenker delivers guitar playing which built his reputation as one of the finest. Solid Bass from Chris Glen, Keyboards and backing vocals/guitar from Paul Raymond (of UFO fame) and Gary Barden giving it all as front man make the spine tingle throughout! Add to this some superb, solid drums from the exceptional, now sadly missed Cozy Powell, give tracks like "Let Sleeping Dogs Lie", "But I Want More" and Never Trust A Stranger" a raw, powerful reminder of what true rock music was REALLY all about!
Shut your eyes, fill your glass, turn out the lights and join the crowd at the Budokan for a performance that knocks you dead! Fantastic!
