Although this CD has "Mortal Kombat" in its name, it's not a real MK CD. Only Techno Syndrome is a track taken from the movie and Track 10 (Hypnotic House) is a remix of techno syndrome. You can imagine that it's disappointing to buy a CD and feel that it's neither the game's nor the movie's soundtrack. And if you buy it you won't hear it very often. I haven't heard it for months and I don't think I will do tomorrow. I recommend you to buy the Ost soundtrack because it's the real soundtrack.

If you are a fan of dance music but not a mortal Kombat this album is still for you but if you are a fan of Mortal Kombat it isn't necessary an album for you its a good album to own but there are better Mortal Kombat compilations out there that feature music from the films as this only features Techno Syndrome (7 Mix) that is used in the first film other than that all of the other music is totally original but is still related to Mortal Kombat as all of the tracks are dedicated to combatants from the first game and the final track Hypnotic House is basically a remix of Techno Syndrome.

This CD was created by the band The Immortals as a tribute to the individual characters from the movie. As they did the main theme it only seems fair. The intire CD is Techno and some songs are better than others my personal favourite apart from Techno Syndrome is No 6. Scorpion (Lost Soul Bent on Revenge)this is a phatt tune and the Techno Syndrome Hypnotic House remix is pretty good too.

So if your really into your MK then get it. If not fair enough.
