Come on, don't be afraid! If you are real Jello fan, you will enjoy this one as much as any other punk stuff you already know. This CD is all Mojo Nixon's crazy country music, sick sick sick! So don't expect any punk. Jello got even beaten up by some misfits for "seeling out" by releasing this CD. Obviously they didn't understand it at all. This CD will make you laugh and think at the same time. The Jello's lyrics are funny and strong, as usual. Mojo Nixon on the other hand, is the only true king of rock'n'roll left these days. Check out his Whereabouts Unknown or Ray Sock Blue CDs. Watch out for him, because Mojo is not a Dick! Enjoy!

I've occasionally heard some Jello Biafra before in some of his really punky stuff, but this album is just worth having just for the sleeve notes - losts of VERY small print and very strange found posters and ads..it's great to hear such a fresh crossover with so much to say. It's really rock and roll, and maybe some bluegrass too. If you can't laugh(or even smile) at the lyrics of 'Drinking with Jesus' then you may need a humour transplant. I orginally found tracks for this online, and loved the album so much I bought it(and Mojo Nixon's Sock Ray Blue too)- record companies, listen, not judge your customers.

Yes you heard right! Jello Biafra teams up with country rebel Mojo Nixon and takes on country music! What on paper sounds like as big a disaster as Dee Dee Ramone's rap album is actually surprisingly good!

I am a big fan of Biafra and not a big fan of country music but bought this album as I wanted to hear Jello doing something a little different. Finally taken away from metal bands who just want to repeat the Dead Kennedy's past glories (and who can blame them) Jello and Mojo create something fresh new and totally cool without compromising either's own styles and without sounding ridiculous (except for where it's meant to!).

Honestly, Jello have never sounded like he's having a better time and even if you depise country you will find something to like about this truely unique album.
