I was lucky enough to be at this concert in 1990 at the end of the apartheid era, Dube, his backing singers and musicians were superb and you get a real feel for the quality of Dube as a live performer from this recording. It is incredibly sad that South Africa lost this great artist and good man to the senseless crime he often used to sing out against. He is sadly missed.

Lucky Dube proved he is the best with this live performence. Recorded during apartheid era in South Africa, by the best sound engineer, Dave Sigel, Lucky Dube performs his best tunes wich influenced the struggle in South Africa. The short introduction of Bob Marley's One love is well done.The bass guitar in 'together as one' by Jabu Sibumbe is exellent. My favourate track is 'born to suffer'.This live album is the best and every song of it.There is no doubt that Lucky Dube is the best vocalist, performer and he has a great band!!
