These animal men are surely one of the best bands of the 90's.The opening track "sharp kid" is full of energy and is very catchy in a hidden way.The album is full of treats like this, don't miss "empire building" "ambulance" and "too sussed" 10 out of 10

This album is an undiscovered gem. Sure you've gotta get past the sub-Hanoi-Glam-rock-we're-a-punk-band-really posturing, and the band are not quite young enough, not quite good-looking enough to pull it off convincingly - but once you dig deep you will discover some moments of poetry. If you allow "Ambulance" and "Empire Building" beneath your skin they will never let go. Some of the most elegant Rock 'n' Roll to have been recorded during the 90's.

For those of you who find the kitsched-up, glam-rock of bands like King Adora a little too embarrassing, and yet still desire some fantastically teenage pop-punk tunes (delivered without a hint of irony)Then These Animal Men are for you. This album is a masterpiece,it'll have you feeling 16 again in no time! (eyeliner optional kids,and you can definately leave those feather boa's at home)
