I don't think i had ever read a book that quite clearly had not the benefit of an editor or proof reader until this book. It is worth buying just to spot the spelling mistakes and dreadful grammatical errors. Perhaps it is actually being used in english language classes...a sort of spot the mistake book. If you can get past the glaring problems i have outlined the book contains a factual, if dry, account of what happened in the mediterranean during the war. If you want a overview of what happened it's not bad but i would suggest reading ernie bradford's battle for malta which although not as broad in scope is a much more vivid account.
