I bought the book because I was curious about Prehistory and themysterious Temples. The book is packed with information about the templesand the author describes the temples one by one. Definitely it's a musthave book.!!!

I bought this book for the wife, having seen an associated web site. The book is highly informative and the photos are spectacular.

On previous visits to Malta we had visited all the temple sites in the tourist guides but this book also tells of sites that are not in the guides. There is a good description of each site with clear directions on how to get to each one. We easily found the tombs at Xemxija and also Skorba and Ta Hagret temples (now signposted and open to the public on Tuesday mornings).

The wife says she wishes we'd had this book before we'd visited all the main temple sites as it really helps in understanding the history and layout of each site. We will just have to do them all again!

Even if you don't intend to visit Malta this book is a really great read for prehistory enthusiasts. We have several books on this subject but this is by far the best.
