4.0 out of 5 stars Good....but, 2 Oct 2003
By A Customer
The worouts section is excellent, gives you exactly what you need and is worth the money as it will last a long time.

The only problem is the 'wasted' section, very few people will actually total up what they eat every single day and calculate calories so I think there is a section that we could do without.

Overall a good product though.

5.0 out of 5 stars all you need to progress well, AND a superb motivational tool as well, 25 April 2007

I have now, personally, filled in several of these training trackers over the years, as a (long time) training, typical HARDGAINER.

The most interesting thing that remains true is just how this can above all else be used as a motivational tool. as every thing is wrote down, there is no guess work left to your routines. so many people completely miss the point in bodybuilding and forget that all told, it's about progressive overload. getting stronger to get bigger, that is.

A point drummed in by Mc Robert in all of his first class publications.

there is no guess work left with these usefull trackers, each one can last around 4 or 5 years depending on the length of your training cycles, and how many exercises in a given cycle.

Mc Robert also explains completely how to log things correctly and how to even design EFFECTIVE programs, from the off. it is highly reccommended however that this is used in conjunction with his other books, the greatest example is; "Beyond Brawn"

As a real hardgainer I can vouch that the ONLY way to gain for many, is by following the basic, abbreviated and best approach from Mc Robert and his associates; It has helped me (over many years, I add) go from a 98lb weakling to a 178lb respectable level lifter (at 5 feet 7 inches), over the many years of reading, and applying advice from his books & publications (note, the publication, hardgainer magazine; is now, sadly, out of print)

And, while I STILL have a long way to go to achieve my potential,(300lb bench press, 400lb squat and a 500lb deadlift is the rough, drug free guide line) these trackers certainly help you to plan and record your growth well enough.
