A heavy paperback with excellent colour maps amd beautiful large photos through out the book. First few pages deal with history, features and wildlife of Kenya. Then the book moves on to different places and areas of Kenya. There is a section on travel tips, a must read before your travel. Then the book talks of the different tribes like maasai, kikuyu, samburu, kamba and turkana etc.
Read about the balloon safari and wildlife phtography and Joy and George Adamson.
At the end of the book, there are do's and don'ts. Please read these carefully as you will need them. The lodges, hotels and safari companies are explained with reviews and phones numbers.
Having born in Kenya and travel there frequently, I reccomend this book. You will enjoy the wild spaces and wildlife of Kenya. Learn a few phrases of swahili, even though every one speaks good English.
Read and ENJOY.
