The guide is packed with ideas for eating, drinking, shopping and sightseeing, but the full and half day itineries are the best part. Disregarding the tourist route, follow one of the walks suggested that takes you to the heart of Bangkok where the people work and live. Squeeze your way through the markets, grabbing some food from a street vendor along the way. Take yourself to a rarely-visited temple, see sleepy crocodiles in the middle of this bustling city and finish off with some fabulous food and a Singha beer.
