This Insight Guide is excellent, not only describing the sights and experiences that you should not miss, and including really excellent photographs, but giving a potted history and geography course on the country.

With a wide range of sites and places worth visiting described concisely yet very readably, the only minor criticism could be that a clearer recommendation scheme might be valuable to assist the reader in making the very difficult choice of the most interesting places to visit.
