5.0 out of 5 stars A must if you are visiting Egypt!, 21 Dec 2000
By A Customer
I have recently returned from my first visit to Egypt, having visited numerous pyramids. I should have had this book before I left. It explains the purpose of each section of the pyramid complexes, using diagrams, large colour photos and information on museum relics. There are some interesting sections written buy Zawi Hawass (the director of the Giza site) where he completley denies any suggestion of 'hidden chambers' etc. This is a historical look at Egypt that captures the wonder of the Seventh Wonder of the World!
