David Roberts, one of the most famous landscape artists of the nineteenth century, published 248 gorgeous lithographs in London between 1842 and 1849 taken from sketches done in Egypt, Nubia, and the Holy Land. In this album, printed on superior-quality, semi-matte, 170-gram paper, some of the most famous panels have been collected from those done by the great Scottish painter during his visits to Egypt: an unforgettable trip back in time, along the Nile Valley and through the Sinai Peninsula. In full colour throughout, it has lavish production values.
