4.0 out of 5 stars Mostly a Visual souvenir, neatly designed, 20 Dec 2002
By A Customer
The book which tends to be a catalog of the biennale is strictly not appropriate as a referencial source of info regarding what was exhibited, yet it is, like many other contemporary architectural titles of the recent years, a visual design of many of the exhibited works. With a severe lack of relevant architectural data, from the most classical way of concieving it (meaning maps, plans, sections, elevations etc) the book covers more of the photographic investigation of most architects who took place and thus most of the projects remain, in a way, 'open'. However, both the format and the indexed editing of the entire material is very comfortable and may serve any conversation table, especially not for the ones from within the field.
