ELE is a favourite amongst students and teachers alike. It is an easy and well structured method comprising 4 books from beginners to advanced.

It is highly accessible, easy to follow, grammar is well laid out and has many entertaining activities that keep students' interest alive. It breaks down tasks in small steps and has a clear and colourful design. Cartoons, pictures and humour are used to elicit a smile from students and help them understand the language.

The only disadvantage is that, coming from a Spanish publisher, it has no instructions in English. Though this is usually not a problem, teachers should always check that students know what they are requested to do.
