Oh dear, with a plot that has more holes than a string vest this was never going to be the best Patrick Swayze offering on the market and unless you are addicted to his work I doubt very much whether this "straight to video" offering will be actively searched out by many.

**Possible Spoilers**
The actual storyline idea is quite intriguing, you have a death row convict who is writing letters to 4 different women, the letters get switched and after his release it would seem one of them is out to make him pay, but which one? Sadly though it is the way it is executed simply makes the film as a whole a bit of a farce. Don't get me wrong, it's not a total failure, the pace of the story bowls along at a nice speed, the cast do all try their best with the parts they've been given and there are some genuine attempts to create an atmosphere of tension and drama. But it's the inconsistencies that simply let it down and you keep shaking you head wonder how it all adds up. For example, Swayze is thrown from a speeding car, minutes later he manages to evade a huge FBI stake out at a shopping mal, takes a bullet in the leg and still manages to save the female lead. OK films are all about a bit of escapism, but please, show some credibility.

As I say if you find yourself at a loose end and this is on the television then enjoy it for what it is but don't expect a masterpiece.

One final thing, do you think it was deliberate to make the female FBI agent look almost exactly like Jodie Foster did in "Silence of the Lambs"?

A bit of a hassle getting this to play in English for me. Loved the film though, a good twist near the end. Am a Patrick Swayze fan though so anything he does is great.
