5.0 out of 5 stars Ronin look no further., 17 Dec 2003
By A Customer
For anyone interested in martial arts-esp japanese, its a wow.Very detailed and comprehensive also well illustrated and readable, but I think the thing that did it for me was seeing what the man in the street would call a knuckle duster, and yet ancient.
As Solomon said "there is nothing new under the sun."
if you read this book and like it I recommend "Ancient Chinese Weapons" which is perhaps more readable, explanatory, even if it is biased with a general view of "its the dog that wags the tail"
