This book has some photos that are duplicated or vice versa in The Taschen Book "Serges Jacques" but many are different. Its a black and white high quality compilation of pin up photos taken from Paris magazines of the 1950s and 60s. Most of the models are extremely attractive. The costumes and sets are very theatrical and imaginative. I would have liked more definitive information about the "treasure trove"of archive material that the photos are from.Net searches for the original source have not been successful.The original magazines are hard to come by from The UK and are not very good quality when found but the book uses prints from original negatives onto high quality glossy paper,in the book.This book is an example to all would be glamour photographers nowadays of how it "should"be done. The models usd were of course a different generation and are perhaps somehwat chubbier and shapely than todays anorexic models... Does anyone know where original copies of the magazines Minuit,ParisHollywood,etc can be obtained in France?
