This will tug at your heartstrings if you have an ounce of pity in you, and tear them to pieces if you have any more. It's 26 Technicolor-style illustrations, largely of (or calling to mind) physical and mental abuse and mutilation of children, each with a short, wrenching caption. Louder bells will be rung if you know the Japanese "kowareta ningyo" fetish, but no-one wanting to remind himself occasionally of the horrors children are still sometimes subject to could ask for more than this. If you buy it, for God's sake don't risk your child's opening the parcel.

HASH(0x9a376864) out of 5 stars Trevor Brown My Alphabet and more 17 Jan. 2002
By A Customer - Published on Amazon.com
Trevor Brown's My Alphabet is a beautifully designed book showcasing the artist's beautiful images of young, lolita-type japanese girls in disturbing images of bondage and torture. The cover is a beautiful black ultrasuede with pink lettering, the cover illustration is inlaid on the fabric, and the cover is protected with a clear plastic dustjacket. The print run was extremely limited and this sold out quickly after its release in Japan. Very few copies made it into the U.S. and My Alphabet has become a sought-after cult classic. Highly recommended if you can still find one.

HASH(0x9adb2e10) out of 5 stars Excellent! Great addition to Forbidden Fruit 7 Mar. 2000

Beautiful..I Now own 2 of his books and I love them both..The previous review says it all for me..However, I must say that if you don't know who Trevor Brown is and you come across this book or any others of his, you're in for a suprise. If only I had access to some of his original paintings.

HASH(0x9a37663c) out of 5 stars Exploring the different aspects of sexuality and practices.. 5 Nov. 2001
By Amy Moran - Published on Amazon.com
I really enjoyed this book because it covers taboos that people don't talk about, let alone think about it most of the time. Trevor Brown's artwork is fantastic. I suggest those who are "curious" about everything read this.
