About the Author
Sue Style, a food, wine and travel writer, was born and brought up in North Yorkshire. She studied Spanish at Madrid University ad later worked for the Latin American edition of The Economist. She has published a number of books on cooking and gastronomy and writes regularly for Financial Times Weekend and sporadically for Waitrose Food Illustrated, Gourmet and Decanter.com.

I bought this book on a recent trip to Switzerland to find out more about the local food and culture, and was very glad that I did. It is a beautifully produced book that combines appealing recipes with interesting tales of Swiss customs and history. For anyone who has visited Switzerland, this book makes the perfect souvenir, and for those who haven't, it will help to transport you there.
