Slightly disapointed that the photos - which are very important aspects when needing help - are black and white, small and not too clear. Otherwise, quite good.

This book is a good manual to buy with the book by Melvynn Hiscock in the sense that different ideas are put forward, giving the reader a wider perspective. Unfortunately the photos are, as previously mentionned, somewhat small, but still a very useful resource.

The photographs are all coarse-screened monochrome and badly printed as though the book was produced on an old-fashioned poor-quality inkjet printer. Most photos are too small and many are so indistinct as to be useless. The text seems alright as far as it goes although it is mostly quite basic and sometimes unclear.

At �19.95 it is extremely overpriced and simply does not stand comparison with, say, Kinkead's 'Build your own acoustic guitar', which is a vastly superior standard of product at a much lower price.
